Construction Seismic Isolators
Seismic products from the only manufacturer that can provide seismic design technology, products, construction and after-sales service.
With UnisonHKR, our experience and expertise pays off. With our expertise and skill, we push the boundaries and install large components for seismic retrofitting in difficult positions.
Lead Rubber Bearing (LRB)
Lead Rubber Bearing or LRB is a type of base isolation employing a heavy damping. Heavy damping mechanism incorporated in vibration control technologies and, particularly, in base isolation devices, is often considered a valuable source of suppressing vibrations thus enhancing a building's seismic performance.
POT Bearing
The sliding function is realized by the lubrication effect of the special silicone agent between the surface-treated stainless steel sliding plate and the PTFE plate, and the horizontal force from the upper plate in the one-way movable support is transmitted to the piston and lower plate by the piston guide. The lubricant is stored in the concave groove of the PTFE plate. The port support is classified into fixed, one-way movable, and omni-directional movable supports.
Pendulum Bearing
The principle of pendulum motion allows for the acceptation of stiffness and horizontal displacement, and the eigenvalues of a structure can be determined through the curvature.
HDRB
It uses rubber's high decrement to provide resilient to building and damping ratio of 10~25%. It is suitable if long-period tensile and energy dissipating capacity according to size and character of building. High decrement rubber is designed to absorb energy by adding rubber's spring factor and friction decrement factor and viscosity decrement factor in the molecules.
Rubber Bearing
The rubber bearings have characteristics common to both fixed and mobile bearings. Allow rotations around any axis.
This happens because the rubber, deforming at almost constant volume, changes geometry allowing the superstructure to rotate. Vulcanized internal metal sheets are opposed to this movement.
